#QueerCountry Bandwagon plays queer songs by country artists, country songs by queer artists, and gender-bending Americana tunes. Their debut show was the Covers for Cover streaming concert in December 2023. They have been gigging\n regularly in 2024, playing Dorothy Downstairs, Cafe Mustache, Dyke Nite Chicago, Sapphic Before Sunset, the Lavender Prairie Festival, Stoned at the Jukebox and the Queer Social Club’s “Swappin’ Boots” country-dancing event. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Mavis is a life-long musician who recently became enamored with both drums and country music (though her favorite will always be punk).
